Founded in 2017 by Joshua Flournoy, Barbarakares is named in honor of his mother, Evalena Barbara Flournoy, whose legacy of compassion and care inspired an entire movement. Their two children, Aaron Lee Flournoy and Joss Nicole Flournoy, have grown up immersed in this culture of care. From a young age, Aaron and Joss developed empathy and compassion for the home care community, further cementing Barbarakares’ legacy as a family-driven enterprise dedicated to making a difference.
